Chapter Philanthropy and Service

 

Tri Delta adopted St. Jude Children's Hospital as their national philanthropy in 1999 and have since raised over $30 million dollars for the hospital. The members of the Alpha Delta chapter at Stetson University take great pride in knowing that they have helped in that mission. All of our members have a strong connection and love for the hospital and children that this partnership and these letters continue to strengthen everyday. Over the past two years we have raised over $38,000 with our individual campus wide events as well as our sincerely yours letter writing campaign. This year we look forward to hosting a week long St. Jude awareness and fundraising week that will include various activities including a patient speaker, Chili's Give Back night and Tackle the Cure flag football tournament. During this week of events we plan on raising awareness about what this hospital does for these children, how much it means to each and every one of our women as well as an approximated $15,000 that will all be donated directly to the hospital.
